Mass Effect 2, the long awaited follow up to BioWare’s action RPG in the stars, has leaked out onto filesharing sites online, before the game has even been released. Read on for the details, as well as some saucy spoilers.
Although not due to go on sale until Tuesday ion North America, and Friday here in the UK and Europe, images of Mass Effect 2 for both PC and Xbox 360 are now being pirated online. TorrentFreak estimates that more than 300,000 people are downloading the 13GB+ file, and at the time of writing, one image being shared via BitTorrent already has 1261 seeders (People sharing the complete file) and almost 24,000 leechers (those trying to download it).

We’ve not played the Mass Effect 2 leak to confirm it, but commenters on filesharing sites claim it works, and more damningly, footage of (explicit) cut scenes from the game is now making its way online, with headline baiting clips of John Shepard and female colleagues getting it on now available for all to see on YouTube.
