Heavy Rain’s secrets have already been revealed in an ESRB report and we know that the game will let you play multiple characters but there’s more. Game director David Cage has revealed that Heavy Rain’s DLC will include the option to play as the villain – the Origami Killer.
In an interview with Gameblog.fr, Cage announced that as well as being able to become a range of heroes in the main Heavy Rain game, you’ll also be able to play the story from the perspective of the villain in one of the downloadable content episodes.
Given the explicit details revealed in the ESRB report on Heavy Rain, the DLC allowing you to play as the Origami Killer is likely to be both violent and controversial. The killer reportedly abducts children from public places. Will that feature in the game from his perspective?
Besides the Origami Killer DLC, Heavy Rain’s other DLC will act as prequels to the main game focusing on other characters and expanding on their back stories. Each additional episode is likely to last an hour.
Are you looking forward to Heavy Rain and what do you think of the idea of playing through the story at the Origami Killer?
