A fully licensed Beatles iPhone app, with lyrics and chords to more than a hundred Beatles songs has quietly slipped onto the iPhone App Store. It’s not the Beatles songs available for the download, but as the first official Beatles content to ever grace iTunes, it’s a milestone nonetheless.
Every year we hear rumours about the Beatles discography landing on iTunes and it’s still to materialise, but for guitar strumming fans, the Little Black Songbook, the Beatles iPhone app, will keep you happy until they finally come. It’s got lyrics and chords for more than 160 tracks, 30 recorded backing tracks to twang along to, and a handful of instructional videos too.

Of course, if you have a score book already you may not need the Beatles iPhone app, but for anyone else, it’s a cheap way to learn to play yourself.
