DJ HeroDJ Hero didn’t exactly fly off the shelves but it seems Activision is set to get back to the decks for DJ Hero 2 with a confirmation from its CEO and the search on for some new talent to feature in the sequel…

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick seemingly confirmed DJ Hero 2 in an interview with Game Informer: “I think DJ Hero is a really innovative product. I can’t wait for you to see next year’s. That’s the thing: we’re sticking with it. We’ll stick with it and get it right.”

Meanwhile a collection of Activision executives descended on the MIDEM 2010 music conference to seek out new artists to supply tracks for DJ Hero 2.

Finally, cementing the return of DJ Hero with some (minor) celebrity power, DJ David Guetta, who contributed to DJ Hero, has confirmed he’s working on “the number two version”. That sounds unsavoury but we know what he means.

Are you willing to give DJ Hero a second spin? Or did DJ skills and gaming make a bad mix? Read our DJ Hero review to find out what we thought.
