iPhone OS updates have been thin on the ground over the past few months and the Apple Tablet’s to blame, according to new rumours. Could there be too many clues in the code?
Boy Genius Report claims that well-placed sources have told it that the iPhone’s operating system has not been updated for three months because there is “too much tablet-related code in the OS”.
The report also claims that the “tablet’s multi-touch gestures are ‘out of control’” which we assumed points again to the suggestion that the Apple Tablet will feature a far wider ranger of gestures.
Boy Genius Report claims that the Apple Tablet will run an OS based on the iPhone kernel an will use an “incredibly fast” ARM processor.
The report sums up the Apple Tablet as “basically an iPhone on steroids”. Does that sound good to you?
