Nokia N900 Ovi StoreThe Nokia N900 may not run Symbian like most of its Finnish handset brothers and sisters, but the Ovi Store is now the go to place for its app just the same. The Maemo 5 machine’s latest over the air software update has opened the doors to the Ovi Store, so you can download all the apps you need for it from the very same place.

The Nokia N900 integration with Ovi Store also means that links, icons and bookmarks to the one stop app shop for Nokia’s blowers will open up in a Nokia N900 friendly window now, so sharing links to your favourite Maemo 5 apps should be even easier. You can also browse Nokia N900 apps through the desktop Ovi Store too.

There are no paid apps for the Nokia N900 on the Ovi Store just yet, but the category is open on the Ovi Store page, suggesting Maemo 5 developers will be able to charge in future. Though we weren’t won over by the Nokia N900′s unresponsive screen in our review, the specially brewed OS was a marvel, and we can’t wait to see more coders taking advantage of it now the Ovi Store is making it mainstream.
