Splinter Cell: Conviction’s not due out until later this year but a new feature has just been revealed on…Facebook. We knew that Splinter Cell: Conviction would feature online multiplayer but now a picture that’s emerged on Splinter Cell’s Facebook page, split-screen co-op is coming too.
Splinter Cell: Conviction’s co-op mode will act as a prologue to the main game – teaming up an American agent and a Russian agent in a 5-6 hour plot that takes place before the main action. The new screen shot shows that you’ll be able to play co-op on the same screen.
With the confirmation of Splinter Cell: Conviction’s split screen co-op capability coming as a caption on a Facebook picture, we’ve not got a lot of details to go on. From the image, we can certainly see that the split screen co-op mode will be as violent as our Splinter Cell: Conviction first play suggested.
