Google Nexus One Google’s Nexus One hardware has been well received but it’s customer service hasn’t if a tidal wave of complaints is to believed. Google’s support forums have been swamped by unhappy customers. So what went wrong?

The Google Nexus One is due to hit the UK on Vodafone “within weeks” but in the meantime, without a handset is still being sold directly by Google sim-free. And it’s not been working all that well.

Google Nexus One owners with complaints or problems are currently only offered an email contact with a 48 hour delay for replies.

Android developers are also frustrated with Google Android 2.1 hitting the Google Nexus One before they were supplied with an SDK to test their apps on it. Without buying a Nexus One, developers aren’t able to tell if their apps work properly on Android 2.1.

Google Android lead Andy Rubin acknowledged the problem at CES saying simply: “We have to get better at customer service.”

Have you nabbed a Google Nexus One and found yourself frustrated by Google’s lack of support? Let us know.
