The Dell Android slate has set tongues wagging here at CES. But we’ve seen a neat rival that’s official and good to go, unlike the one from the PC giant. It’s called the Viliv P3 and it has some rather neat extras up its sleeve.
See, the Viliv P3 doesn’t just cram in Google’s mobile OS. The people behind it claim it can also dual boot Windows CE, if you’re of a Microsoft persuasion. Unfortunately the prototype we laid hands on wasn’t playing nice, but it’s a clever concept all the same.
Features wise, the Viliv P3 isn’t short on skills. It has a stunning 3.7-inch AMOLED screen, 32GB and 3.5mm audio. When we picked it up we were amazed at how light it was. The plan is to release it in Q2 in the US, but there’s no word on when or whether it’ll hit our fair shores.
