Snow, cold toes and an inevitable trudge to work might be our lot over here in Britain but the news from CES 2010 is still red hot. Huddle up close and read on for the round up of CES 2010 day three’s biggest news…
First up, we snuck a cheeky peek at the return of instant photography with the retro-futurism of the next generation Polaroid camera.
There was lots of news from chip kings Nvidia. We hit the Nvidia press conference to bring you a minute-by-minute liveblog, discovered Nvidia’s plans to bring us a deluge of HD tablets using its Tegra chip and took a look at their in-car collaboration with Audi.
We got a deluge of news from Dell too. Check out our hands-on with the Dell Android tablet and our look at the newly souped-up Dell Mini 10. We also hunted down the Dell Mini 3i Android phone which we’re told was built “specifically with the UK in mind.” Bet they say that to all the girls…
Day three was also booth tour day. Check our our extensive trawl around the show floor for all the coolest kid from Microsoft, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Sharp, Toshiba and Samsung.
We were also quite taken with Sky News’ Yahoo! TV widget, the Plastic Logic Que proReader, which is headed for the UK (see our hands-on here) and Asus’s Waveface concept which we finally hunted down in the flesh.
