After O2′s foray into the world of finance last year, Orange is following suit, teaming up with Barclaycard to unveil a new Orange Credit Card. The all new plastic rocks contactless payment tech, as well as some clever features to keep you worryingly up to date on your spending habits.
Punters who get the Orange Credit Card will be able to use the same contactless system found in the O2 Wallet, letting you pay for packets of fags, sweets and cheap goodies under a tenner.
O2 Money: mobile giant does credit cards
On top of that, Orange will send you weekly balance and credit limit info, alongside your monthly bill to boot. You can even set up texts to block your card being used online and abroad. And if you’re watching your wonga in the New Year, you can also line up strict budgets and have transactions declined if you break them.
On top of all that, the Orange Credit Card also gets you exclusive ticket access to Glastonbury, England Rugby and discounts on other Orange mobile treats.
