Vega Android tablet We broke the news yesterday, but the Android Vega tablet from ICD is now official on T-Mobile in the UK. The network is readying the Google slate as a rival to O2′s Joggler, sitting squarely on your kitchen counter and organising your family life from one hub – but it does a lot more.

We were the first to tell you that T-Mobile might be stocking the Vega tablet from ICD, and now the network that brought the first Android phone to the UK has ‘fessed up.

Little’s changed since we went hands-on with it, other than the operating system: the T-Mobile Android Vega tablet packs NVIDIA Tegra graphics for 1080p video playback, it shoves in an FM radio and Wi-Fi, and using a 3G data connection, you can even make hands-free calls while you make yourself a cuppa.

Will T-Mobile sell the Android Vega tablet?

T-Mobile is still holding back on a launch date or final price, but we’d expect the Vega to be subsidised with some form of monthly data tariff.
