UPDATE: Yup, Ballmer says Project Natal is coming for the holiday 2010. Get it on your Christmas wishlist folks!
Project Natal, the motion sensing Xbox 360 add-on Microsoft is hoping will pump a new lease of life into its console, has just been given an official release date: the holiday season this year.
Steve Ballmer’s Microsoft keynote is still ongoing (See our live coverage here), but lo, Microsoft has just popped up a statement on its site confirming all the details of his speech here in Las Vegas. As Ballmer mentioned once before backtracking, Project Natal will be out for the “holiday season 2010″, which translated from American euphemisms, means in time for Christmas.
Unfortunately, pricing details and the rumours of Project Natal Xbox consoles remain unconfirmed, but we’ll update if Ballmer lets slip any more juicy gossip on it.
