Game RoomGame Room is a brand new feature for Xbox 360, just unveiled by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer here at CES in Las Vegas. Just like the Virtual Console for Wii, it lets you play great old games from yesteryear, but there’s a Redmond twist to it too.

Starting in the Spring, Game Room will offer up nostalgic, classic arcade games through Xbox Live. From launch, you’ll get 30 games from Activision, Konami, Atari and more, with 1,000 launches planned for the next three years.

Game Room adds an Xbox 360 spin on things by letting you see your avatar playing the game on an original arcade cabinet. Get ready to blister your thumbs all over again!
