Panasonic’s new Viera TVs are spread out along one side of the stand, not far from the now standard-issue 3D technology. But venture down to the far end and you’ll find Panasonic’s eco-friendly stall is set up with some interesting toys.
It’s all interactive, with buttons to press to make things happen. It’s like a high tech version of the Science Museum. Our favourite was Panasonic’s demo of new insulation material destined for its fridges and freezers. It invited you to slap your hands on a hot surface, then try the same surface with their insulator applied. It was cool, and reassuringly clever.
