The Alienware M15X grabbed plenty of headlines and packed plenty of grunt. But my was it hefty. However, we’ve just clamped eyes on the all new Alienware M11X, which Dell says is the most powerful gaming laptop for its size, clocking in at just 11.6-inches. There’s no doubting the Alienware M11X is a stunner. It rocks switchable graphics, meaning you can use it for boring old typing and browsing on lower settings before flicking the NVIDIA GT335M processor into full on mode to play the likes of Crysis and Modern Warfare 2.

As well as gaming cajones, the Alienware M11X also packs in Full HD, a massive six and a half hours battery life and HDMI out.
It’s due out in spring, with Dell suits saying it will cost under $1,000 in the US. That’s a far cry from its pricier, bulkier brethren and really should make it a go to gadget.
