The Sony Walkman A845, the gadget giant’s skinny OLED Walkman with an epic battery life, has finally been penciled in for a UK launch, five months after lucky iPod haters in Japan got their mitts on the device. Want to know when? Read on.
The Sony Walkman A845 isn’t the first OLED music player from Sony (That honour goes to the tasty X Series), but it’s a big step in bringing the beautiful display tech down market, along with the flagship Walkman’s digital noise canceling too. Despite a big 2.8-inch OLED panel, the Sony Walkman A845 weighs in at just 62g, and is only 7.2mm thick so it’ll slip into any pocket.

Battery life for the Sony Walkman A845 is impressive too, with 29 hours of music or nine of video, and you can hook it up to a TV to playback videos on a big screen too.
Unfortunately, the bigger capacities seem to have been dropped, so you can only get the Sony Walkman A845 with 16GB of size, but if you’re more about sound quality than apps or video cameras, it’s yours from next month, price still to be confirmed.
Out February | £TBC | Sony
