3D TV is all set to be CES 2010′s big draw. And Sky 3D isn’t going to be left out of the party, announcing its service will be compatible with LG, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony ’3D Ready’ TVs, which are due to get official today here at CES.
While we’ve known for some time that Sky 3D was on course for a 2010 launch, today’s news serves up some juicy early deets on new TVs from the biggest players going. It appears 3D Ready is the agreed name from all the big boys for their new tellies.

As well as LG and Sony models announced last year, Panasonic will line up a range of Full HD 3D Ready Viera Plasma TVs which will work fine and dandy with Sky 3D. Panasonic’s Marketing Director, Andrew Denham also says these new TVs will come with high-end shutter specs, so you can sling those tatty old Channel 4 3D week ones right now.
All you’ll need to access the service is a Sky+HD box and one of the new 3D Ready TVs being touted today. Stay tuned for more news on 3D Ready TV, as CES gears up to hear from tech’s hottest companies.
