Saygus VPhone Android blower headed to Europe!

The Saygus VPhone is one of the lesser known Android phones floating around tradeshow right now. Looking like a cross between a Nokia N900 and a Motorola Milestone, it’s a beefy specced Google blower with a QWERTY keyboard, and it’s headed to Europe. Read on for the details!

The Saygus VPhone’s spesc aren’t to be smirked at, even if you’ve never heard of Saygus itself. Under the bonnet, the Saygus VPhone packs a 3.5-inch capacitive screen, five megapixel camera and a board that looks much better than the unnecessary QWERTY attached to the Milestone.

Best of all though? The Saygus VPhone is headed to the UK. The first model will run on American CDMA networks only, but Saygus’ chief technology officer, Tim Riker, confirmed to us that it’s “working on a GSM follow up” with the intention of releasing it in Europe.

Can the Saygus VPhone survive when the Nexus One and Milestone are bagging all the publicity? We’re not sure, but check out our hands-on snaps and we’ll have more launch details before you know it.
