Lenovo-Skylight-7

The Lenovo Skylight spent the afternoon in our trembling palms. We came, we saw, we gave this smart-book a good mauling, and it didn’t disappoint.

Sure, the software’s a little on the weedy side. It’s unable to run armfuls of apps at a time, but it’s incredibly light, and now we’ve seen it in the flesh, the design has properly won us over.

The Lenovo Skylight has a 10.1-inch screen, and a slot for a 3G SIM card, as well as Wi-Fi inside. There’s no Windows 7 though. Inside is Linux with a custom Lenovo UI.

That flap above the keyboard contains a USB stick, and a micro SD card reader. There’s also another USB socket in the side, and a HDMI connector. Take a peek in our hands-on photo gallery.
