We’re already smitten with the Cowon iAudio E2, having caught sight of it back at the rear end of 2009. But now the PMP types have served up full specs, as well as pricing for this nifty little iPod Shuffle destroyer.
The keyring-styled Cowon iAudio E2 looks the business. There are set to be two versions up for grabs in the UK, one with 2GB for 500 tunes, another with 4GB for a heftier 1,000 tracks.
Cowon iPod Shuffle beater incoming
Each version of the Cowon iAudio E2 also comes loaded with Cowon’s BBE+ sound tech which it says brings out stacks more detail in those low quality MP3s we’re so addicted to.
That said, it’ll also handle WMA, WAV, OGG and FLAC files, meaning you can load it up with any files you’ve got kicking around, AAC excluded of course.
The 2GB Cowon iAudio E2 is a mere £34.99, with the 4GB edition setting you back just £44.99. Not half bad for a music player that looks every bit as good as Apple’s tiniest jukebox.
