Apple prepping iTunes Film Bundles

Apple is preparing to launch iTunes Film Bundles for the UK, collecting two or three classic movies. iTunes Movie Bundles have already launched in the US and we’ve spotted an unfinished page on the UK iTunes store.
Apple’s made a number of bundles available in the US iTunes store already. They range from the unappealing (Dirty Dancing packaged with its shonky sequel Havana Nights) to the classic (the Harvey Keitel Double Feature with Resevoir Dogs and Bad Lieutenant).
Other iTunes Movie Bundles include the Bad Boys films, the X-Men trilogy and a selection of Scarlett Johansson flicks.
The UK iTunes store feature looks like it will be known as Film Bundles but currently the page doesn’t show any deals yet. However, we have spied the pricing – £6.99 for double features and £9.99 for triple features.
We’ll keep a eye trained on the page and let you know when Apple gets round to revealing what carefully selected clutches of films it’s chosen. With full browsing streaming round the corner and video streaming rumoured, it seems Apple is set on  sprucing up the iTunes store.

Google doesn’t seem to be in a hurry with the suggestion being that its netbook is on course for Christmas 2010. Google apparently intends to sell the devices directly to consumers. The device will be 3G enabled and be available with various carrier plans making it a potential competitor for the Nokia Booklet.
