Garmin has launched a thrifty GPS navigator – the Oregon 550t with all the features you’d expect to find on pricer units including all the mapping goodness you’d expect.
The Nuvi 255W is ready to use out of the box. It comes with a 4.3-inch widescreen display with turn-by-turn directions with a database of hotels, restaurants and other points of interest in full colour and in 3D.
Add to that proximity alerts to warn you of incoming points of interest and HotFix to calculate your position as quickly as possible. Other goodies include a currency converter, picture viewer and world time zones.
