The Apple tablet should be one of the highlights of 2010 for gadget fans, but while we wait for a Steve Jobs unveiling to end all unveilings, feast your eyes on the second video showing off the “Apple tablet” that broke cover last week. Yes, it’s almost certainly fake. But yes, we still want one.
The first video of this alleged Apple tablet popped up around this time last week, and here we are seven days later with another tasty, in depth look at this slate. We’re in love with the UI, which splits halfway down the screen for Cover Flow style menu scrolling, as well as its media playing abilities. Is that a Flash video embedded in a web page that starts instantly playing? You certainly can’t do that on an iPhone.
Of course, unless this is one of the Tegra fuelled MIDs set to storm CES next month, this here Apple tablet is probably fake, with the man’s finger moving in time to a pre-recorded video to make it look like a working touchscreen tablet. But Cupertino, if you’re watching, we wouldn’t mind at all if the Apple tablet ended up like this. Hint hint.
