Assassin’s Creed 2‘s first downloadable content is coming in January and February with Battle of Forli and the Bonfire of the Vanities filling in the game’s missing sequences (12 and 13). Read on to find out what Ezio will get up to…

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed 2′s first piece of DLC, Battle of Forli, will arrive in January and find Ezio battling to defend Forli with the help of history’s most famous schemer Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza, the Duke Of Milan’s illegitimate daughter. The new episode will feature six new memories and the return of Da Vinchi’s flying machine.

Bonfire of the Vanities will be available as an add-on for Assassin’s Creed 2 in February. Machiavelli has a starring role again, helping Ezio free Florence from the tyranny of a mad monk called Savonarola (another real historical figure). The episode will add another district to Florence and a new move for Ezio called the “spring jump”.

Having finished the main story I’m looking forward to some new content for what I think has been one of the best games I have ever played. Will it be out on the PS3!?
