Red Dead Redemption maker Rockstar Games wowed us with a stunning, spaghetti Western style trailer for the game, but it’s just released a new video to go with it, showing off some in-game footage to go with those tasty cut scenes. Read on to see it!
If you read our preview of Red Dead Redemption, you’ll know we were knocked out by the graphics and setting to the Red Dead Revolver sequel. We weren’t allowed to shoot in the flesh footage, but Rockstar’s slipped us a trailer showing off the missions we were walked through.
Read Dead Redemption: first look!
Hit the play button, and you can see the Red Dead Redemption wilderness in all its beauty, mixed with some teasing cut scenes and in game action, which sees your character John Marston hunting down convicts, invading a fort, and yes, blowing up barrels on the tracks in a runaway train cart.
What you’ll also get a sense of in this Red Dead Redemption video are the incredible physics of the game engine. As well as being able to target specific limbs, or shoot hats off, there are some other impressive additions: check out John’s flailing body and limbs as he gets gored by a bull! Go brew a cuppa and settle down to watch the video in full (It’s four minutes long), and be sure to check out our in-depth preview too.
Out 30 April 2010 | £TBC | Rockstar
