Facebook is trying to encourage users to be more open with its new privacy settings and it seems the social network’s founder, Mark Zuckerberg, is willing to be the poster child.
Mark Zuckerberg has downgraded his own privacy settings making it possible for virtually anyone to see his photos and his event calendar.
The Facebook photos Zuckberg has exposed to the masses include him spending time with his girlfriend and at some kind of fun day with a man dressed as a giant banana.
Zuckerberg’s decision appears to an attempt to act as an example to other Facebook users. The site recently made privacy changes to make information including name, profile picture, friends and location public by default.
Zuckerberg heralded his change in privacy setting with a status update saying he “didn’t see a need to limit the visibility of pics with my friends, family or my teddy bear
.” We’ve yet to discover him clutching his toy bear but we’re searching.
