Batman: Arkham Asylum is set to get a sequel in 2010 and the first trailer for the dark and disturbing game’s follow-up has hit the web. Not satisfied with Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 or the new Medal of Honor game? Maybe this sequel will prick up your bat ears.
Outside Arkham Asylum a riot is going on. The trailer then dives through the gates of the asylum, through a sinister fairground set up and upstairs, where the Joker is sat in a chair flanked by two nurses.
It seems the Batman: Arkham Asylum sequel will feature an even more sickly Joker. He coughs and splutters as he laughs before the screen goes black and reveals the Batman logo in crumbling stone.
The trailer also points you to the website for the as-yet-untitled Batman: Arkham Asylum sequel. The site called Arkham Has Moved doesn’t offer up many clues: there’s sounds of a storm and a ripped army recruiting poster featuring a faceless Uncle Sam figure. A single link takes you to the trailer.
