The Dell Adamo XPS was expected to arrive on our fair shores before Christmas, but it’s slipped through customs and immigration and on to shop shelves without almost a sound. The super thin laptop has just gone on sale, and we’ve got the pricing and whereabouts right here.
The Dell Adamo XPS, the world’s thinnest laptop at 9.99mm, will is on sale at selected John Lewis stores today, and the store has exclusivity until Christmas. The asking price? An eye watering £1,750. That’s a whole lot more than those Stateside will pay for it ($1,799 or £1,100), even if the US price doesn’t include tax.
Still, for your money, you’ll be getting just about the coolest laptop in the land. The Dell Adamo XPS has a standout, elevating case which raises the keyboard at an angle when you pop it open. Inside is a 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor, a 128GB SSD, and 4GB of DDR3 RAM, so it’s not exactly underpowered.
If you can’t get down to a John Lewis store, the Dell Adamo XPS will also be on sale on John Lewis’ website before the end of the week, so keep a look out for it.
