Communication
The N900 doesn’t just shoot fancy videos for you to show your mates later on, it can also beam live footage direct to the web! Fancy being a roving reporter? Maybe you just want to stream your birthday party to mates across the world? Install Qik on the N900, and you’ll turn it into a boneafide broadcast box.
Online
Left a file at home? No problem. Nokia’s Ovi Files service will let the N900 tap into a PC or Mac when it’s switched on, using its powerful web browser. Not left the computer switched on? That’s OK too, since Nokia’s Anytime Files service backs up your most important files automatically, making them available offline, and ensuring the latest version is always saved in the cloud.
Music
The N900 is more than a web-friendly smartphone, it’s also a cracking portable media player. As well as dishing up stored music, the N900 can use its 3G skills to grab music from the internet too. Fancy some Brazilian hip hop? French Jazz? Or just Radio 2 in the afternoon? The N900 can stream them all, no problem. It’ll even let you use wireless Bluetooth headphones.
Communication
Got a lot of contacts? Then the N900 can help you stay on top of them. Download and install the Hermes app, and it’ll sync all your contacts with Facebook, even pulling in your buddies’ profile pictures and birthdays to make sure you never forget, or neglect to send a card.
Gaming
Thumping away at buttons is old school. The N900 packs in the latest touchscreen technology, as well as motion sensors to let you play games by tilting the phone. 3D graphics look the business, and the choice of titles on offer is broad too. From tilt-sensitive racing titles, to novelty games and arcade classics, the N900 has the lot!
