idea-cubic-timerIn a time where tech seems to be getting evermore complicated, it’s nice to occasionally step back and admire something so simple, it’s brilliant. Like IDEA’s Cubic Timer, which takes the legwork out of counting things down.

Yes, every phone these days comes with a stopwatch built in and press enough buttons on your watch and you’ll no doubt find a timer buried deep inside it too, probably somewhere in between the biorhythm calculator and virtual bubble wrap simulator.

For fewer clicks, IDEA has come up with the Cubic Timer – which, as the name suggests, is a cube with numbers embossed on its sides. To start it going, simply pick it up and put it back down again with the time period you want to track face up.

The IDEA Cubic Timer lets you choose from three, ten, 30 and 60 minute intervals and there’s really nothing more to it. Oh and it looks pretty swanky too.
