I have resisted the iPhone for the last 3 years and am currently still rocking an HTC Touch Diamond but if the 4th version can multi task properly and isn’t about £800 over the term of the contract I might give it a whirl although it also needs to be a little smaller IMHO.

Sony Ericsson are finished too I think after the awful software issues the Sation and Aino have as well as the delay to the X10 and that hurts me after being a Sony Ericsson lover back in the T610, w800 and K800 days

Your phone is a little gem, just like my old original PlayStation in my loft.
But you have to face facts, I don’t understand your comment about newer phones “Doing things all badly”
Give me an example? The Samsung Pixon can take 12MP photos. That much better than your phone.
If you’re on EP reading about the top 10 phones in 2010, I don’t see how you can write a statement like that. It’s pointless.
You stick with your phone if it makes you happy, but the quest for perfection is a never ending story in Mobile technology. Everyone is in competition with each other, do you really think Nokia would survive if it just made non-smartphones? Don’t think so…..

Why do I not want ANY of these phones?

Why is my Nokia6300 better than any other phone I have tried since? Could it be that having a phone that is small and does just enough and does those things well, is better than a huge phone that does everything under the sun, but does them all badly.
