iTunes: Apple promises festive free downloads

iTunesiTunes, Apple’s online shop for all your songs, shows and movies, has had a touch of the Christmas spirit, and to help you make use of that new iPod on your list for the 25th, it’s giving away free downloads for the full 12 days of Crimbo. Read on for the details.

Apple’s just set a new website live today, iTunes12daysofchristmas.co.uk, where starting on Boxing Day, through to 6 January, it’ll be announcing a free download every day through the Christmas season. Each day, itunes will offer a free song, music video, iPhone app, TV show or movie for you to download.

Each freebie on iTunes is only available for 24 hours though, so to make sure you don’t miss out, head on over to the festive iTunes site now and sign up for email alerts, and while you’re there, check out the competition to win a free iPod nano to load your free files on.
