BlackBerry App WorldBlackBerry App World, RIM’s app store for its push email smartphones, is sporting a brand new section today: the Test Center [sic], which lets you sample brand new apps in beta, early, for free!

Fire up BlackBerry App World on your ‘Berry, or on the desktop, and you’ll see the new Test Center category. It’s the new go to place to try out apps before they’re finalised, so you can test them early on your BlackBerry, at the risk of the occasional crash.

BlackBerry App World: first impressions

Unfortunately, while the BlackBerry eBay app is listed in the section on the desktop BlackBerry App World, on a UK Bold 9700, we were only able to see and download Role Call Reminder Lists, and the latest MySpace BlackBerry app, so it looks as though it’s still North America only.

Still, it’s a useful section in the BlackBerry App World to keep an eye out on, so you can see what’s new. It’s live and available to try on your BlackBerry now.
