Is the Nokia N87 camera phone just around the corner? We’ve seen a glimpse of a potential 12 megapixel snapper from the Finns before, but now a new leak puts a name to it. What you’re looking at here is a touchscreen sequel to the N86!
If you’ll recall, we caught a curious snapshot of an unnamed Nokia handset sporting a 12.1MP sensor back around the time of Nokia World. Until today, we’d not seen or heard any more about it, but now Phone Arena has come through with a video leaking the design specs of a Nokia N87 with a 12.1MP camera and Xenon and dual LED flash.

You can check out the design of the supposed Nokia N87 in the video below. It certainly looks eerily similar to the in the wild shot from September, and we’re loving the other specs that come with it: 16GB of storage, and an X6 topping 3.2-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen.
We’ve got a feeling we won’t be seeing anything official about a Nokia N87 until Mobile World Congress in February (Where Nokia’s first 8MP phone, the N86, debuted this year). Knowing Nokia’s luck though, there’ll be a few more extensive leaks before then.
