Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto in the Wild West, has a brand new trailer out. It’s a stunning, stirring homage to Sergio Leone’s spaghetti Western classics, and we’ve got it right here for you. Ready? Draw!
The Red Dead Redemption trailer, titles My Name Is John Marston, gives us a better glimpse of what to expect from the game: lashings of cowboy violence, mixed with heists, horseback chases and explosions on the railway. Ever seen any of the Clint Eastwood man with no name films, or TV drama Deadwood? It’s reminiscent of both, and the graphics are far beyond what we’ve become accustomed to in the GTA 4 universe.
Red Dead Redemption: win a cameo!
The Red Dead Redemption trailer also reveals the release date for the game: 30 April on PS3 and Xbox 360. That should give us just enough time to complete Final Fantasy 13 and Just Cause 2 – Easter’s shaping up to be a great time for gaming next year.
Take a look at Red Dead Redemption in the new video, and stay tuned for plenty more coverage.
Out 30 April 2010 | £TBC | Rockstar
