The Sky News iPhone app, which shoves headlines, pics and video straight on to your handset, just picked up a gong at this year’s Royal Television Society (RTS) Innovation Awards.
The Sky News iPhone app, which launched in May, won the “On The Move” category award for delivering breaking news as well as the ability to submit your own content. It’s already been downloaded by more than 500,000 people, and the jury were with them when they came to rating it.
