Play.comPlay.com is promising a one day only sale next month for anyone who’s been putting their Christmas shopping off. Dubbed Mega Monday, it promises bargains to rival Black Friday in the US. Read on for the details.

Play.com’s predicting that next Monday, 7 December, will be the busiest online shopping day of the year, as procrastinators nationwide finally remember to do a bit of ordering to make sure the post brings the prezzies in time. To tie in with that, it’s planning to offer special deals across the 11m products it offers.

Play.com isn’t saying what those are just yet, but it’s already offering a few great gadget bargains already, including a Sony BDP-S360 Blu-ray player (bundled with Angels & Demons, Terminator Salvation and Slumdog Millionaire) for £134.99, which make Apple’s Black Friday cuts look miserly.

Check back with Play.com on Monday to see what deals it’s offering and remember, the last day to get in your orders in time for Christmas is the 19th.
