The Nokia X6 has almost slipped under the radar, what with all they hype around the Nokia N900 internet tablet, but it’s pipped it to the post and landed on shop shelves today. We’ve got all the info, pricing and know how you need on Espoo’s first X Series blower right here.
From today, you’ll be able to pick up a Nokia X6 on Orange from Phones4U, complete with Comes With Music for an unlimited buffet of tunes to download. It’s available free from £35 a month, but you can knock a tenner off that if you trade in an old N Series Nokia handset for it.
Nokia X6: hands-on photo overload!
The Nokia N900 may have been grabbing all the attention, but the Nokia X6 is just as important for the Finnish phone cobbler. It’s the first in its new X Series of music phones, an attempt to give Comes With Music a second wind after a tepid reception from customers, and the first Nokia ever to use a capacitive touchscreen, which promises much easier typing without a stylus.
We’ll be nabbing a Nokia X6 shortly to put through it paces, so stay tuned for more coverage, but if you just can’t wait, you know where to get it.
