ThreeUPDATE: You can sign up for the 3 on demand service on 3’s official site, here.

3 has just inked a deal to start streaming on-demand TV straight to your handset, letting you pick and choose what you want to watch, when you want to watch. First on-demand music, now video – what’s next?

Network 3 has just announced it’s partnered up with Mobix Interactive to launch a subscription based on demand service for handsets, unsurprisingly call “TV on Demand”. For £5 per month of £1.49 for an individual day, you’ll be able to watch TV on demand through the company’s Adrenalin platform, and on any 3 handsets.

3 is still keeping the shows and launch date under wraps for now but we’re told further details will be out shortly. We’ll bring you the full details for programming on the 3 on demand mobile service, but if you’re on a phone without BBC iPlayer support at the moment, it’s good news indeed.
