Headphone top boys Sennheiser have ripped the wrappers off the Sennheiser MM 450 Travel, a set of wire-free ear goggles that they describe as “the world’s best Bluetooth headset”. Read on to find out why.
The Sennheiser MM 450 Travel features Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR, which supports high quality stereo audio transmission without wires. The headphones are designed to pair with mobile phones and Bluetooth-equipped music players (such as the iPod Touch) and offer ear-pleasingly crisp sound without the irritation of wires. And there’s a built-in microphone for taking calls.
Nothing particularly new about that, you might think, but the Sennheiser MM 450 Travel also offers NoiseGard 2.0 noise cancelling technology, battery charging via handy USB (or regular wall socket) and a sturdy, folding design that makes them suitable for, well, travel. Yes, there’s a clue in the name, we know.
If the headset really does deliver on its makers audiophile quality claims, then it could prove to be a very popular upgrade for smartphone users serious about sound quality. We’ll try and get our hands on the Sennheiser MM 450 Travel for a proper review soon.
