We told you the Nintendo DSi XL was headed to the UK when the handheld was announced last month, but one’s arrived over here well ahead of launch, and been given a thorough once over already.
CVG.com has managed to lay its hands on a Nintendo DSi XL already. The chunky console just went on sale in Japan, and while it’s not due out here until the Spring of next year, that’s not stopped the fellas putting up a Nintendo DSi XL review already.
They found the Nintendo DSi XL’s screen actually made gaming easier thanks to the size stretch (4.2-inches compared to the 3.25-inches on the DSi), though the same resolution means games do appear more low-res and blocky than before.
Should you be setting aside your pennies to pick up a Nintendo DSi XL come the Spring? Have a quick peek, and stay tuned for plenty more Nintendo DSi XL coverage to come.
