BlackBerry Media Sync, RIM‘s software to get your ‘Berry playing nice with iTunes and Window Media Player, has just hit version 3.0. Not only does the new update give the app an upgraded look, but it now syncs photos too!
BlackBerry Media Sync is a useful tool for automatically lifting your PC playlists on to your smartphone without any backdoor hack shenanigans, but now it’ll let you automatically move new pictures from a specified folder on to your phone to cart around with you too, and even resize them to fit the BlackBerry screen to save space.

BlackBerry Media Sync 3.0 also allows for syncing in the other direction as well, with a pop up alert letting you know there are snaps to transfer when you plug the phone in to your PC over USB, although you can always upload snaps to the cloud automatically through free apps such as itookthisonmyphone too.
Now, if only it dealt with video in the same way. PC users can download BlackBerry Media Sync 3.0 here, while Mac users will find the same tech integrated into the newest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager of OS X, available on the same page now.
