Lunchtime LowdownIt’s the start of another long stretch to the weekend, but you can make that stint easier by stocking up on all the latest tech news. We’ve got the roundup you need right here, so read on for it all in your techie breakie!

First up, in mobile, we bagged a Nokia N900 Maemo 5 tablet of our own to unbox, while we took a look at just what it’s capable of in a video roundup. RIM meanwhile suffered another leak, this time revealing its brand new BlackBerry Pearl 9100, complete with new optical trackpad.

Elsewhere in tech, we got word of how you can try out the new Star Trek Online MMO early, YouTube added speech recognition to videos and Twitter confirmed its plans to roll out paid for services, while in Apple news, Steve Jobs personally replied to an upset developer – curtly.
