If you’re longing to get your hands on a HTC HD2 but missed out on the first batch of hotcake smartphones on Vodafone the other week, O2 has just announced the Windows Mobile-rocking, HTC Sense-infused touchscreen is on sale in its stores today.
If you’re out of contract on O2 or not fussy about network allegiance, you’ll be able to find the HTC HD2 in O2 stores and over the phone as of right now. At the time of writing it’s still not listed on O2’s site, but we’ve confirmed that the HTC HD2 will be free on O2’s 18 month, £45 tariff, so if you’re keen to avoid a long lock in it could be the way forward.
If you’re in need of a reminder as to why the HTC HD2’s suddenly made Windows Mobile hot again, it’s courtesy of its stunning, 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen and Sense software sucking in Facebook and Twitter updates for your contacts. Look for the HTC HD2 in stores now, but don’t expect units to hang about.
