Sony’s PSP Go is meant to be the future of gaming, doing away with UMD discs and letting you download games straight onto the device. But it seems the firm is struggling to bring LittleBigPlanet to the Playstation Network for download onto the PSP Go
Since Sony itself developed LittleBigPlanet, not being able to get the game onto its own console, the PSP Go, is more than a little embarrassing. It’s released a statement explaining the issue:
LittleBigPlanet PSP is not currently available on the Playstation Store. The goal is to have titles available on the Playstation Store and [in shops] on the same day…we’re working on solving the problem as we speak.”
So while owners of old-school UMD-swallowing PSPs can grab LittleBigPlanet PSP right now, people who’ve leaped over to the brave new world of the PSP Go are stuck waiting for Sony to solve it’s digital dilemmas. That’s irksome in the extreme.
