Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10, the first Android-enhanced blower to carry the Sony Ericsson marque has already been manhandled by the press, and videoed more times than Paris Hilton, but now we know when it’ll go on sale. A pre-registration page on Sony Ericsson UK’s website spills the date – February 2010.
Previously we’d heard that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 was due to launch “in the first half of 2010″ so fixing the date in February 2010 is a big step forward.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 takes some of its looks from the Windows Mobile-toting Xperia X2 but rocks Sony Ericsson’s fancy reskinning of the Google Android OS, dubbed the UX platform.
With a 4in touchscreen, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 only features three physical buttons, but we’re hoping that caressable screen is brighter in the final version than the prototype we pawed. In our first hands-on, the Xperia X10’s display seemded a little dim.
Check out our hands-on with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and watch it captured on video to work out whether you should hop over and register your interest.
