The Leica M7 rangefinding beauty has just been given a makeover: presenting the ultra limited edition Leica M7 Hermès, packing new shades of leather – and a monster pricetag.
Starting next month, you’ll be able to pick up the Leica M7 Hermès edition, which packs in the same 35mm tech in a new case finished with silver chrome and leather, either in orange or “étoupe” (read: brown), all new metal control buttons, and comes in a linen and silk lined box. The Leica M7 Hermès also comes with a silver anodised wide angle lens and lens hood built especially.
Leica’s only putting out 200 of the Leica M7 Hermès worldwide, 100 in each new shade, but we can see why: at £8,550, you’re paying an awful lot for a paint job.
