The LightSleeper, a new gadget designed to help lull you into slumber is like a high-tech sheep counter for the bedroom, and in typical bonkers gadget style, it’s British made. The sleep-incuding projector is about to go on sale at Boots. Can it usher the sandman into your bedroom? Or will it give you trippy dreams? We’ve got all the details right here.
The LightSleeper may look like a webcam, but it’s actually a projector that beams a light onto the ceiling. You follow it with your eyes as it gently circles around, and it’s claimed even the most restless will soon be soothed into a deep sleep. It’ll shut itself off after half an hour, but you can tap it back to life for another stint if you’re still no closer to the land of nod.

The LightSleeper has been designed and built right here in Britain, with the original design coming from a Lancashire student and parts and construction being dealt with in Berkshire.
It’s on sale now on at the LightSleeper website, but will be on sale at boots.com shortly, and hitting Boot’s walk-in stores early next year.
