Two days after Google announced its Google Go programming language and the first app has arrived. Don’t get too excited though, it’s a Twitter app and it’s a little on the simple side…
Gotweet is a command line Twitter client that sticks to the absolute basics. If you’re after bells and whistles, you should probably stick with Tweetdeck on the iPhone.
But if you do want to try Gotweet, you can download the Mac OS X and Linux source code from the project’s website. And if it’s this quick and easy to get a Google Go application built, why not go and make your own. One thing’s for sure, Go is a damn sight simpler to get your head around than Google Wave.
